Plan for the educational work of the class teacher. Planning of educational work in the classroom

One of the duties of the class teacher is the formation of a plan for educational work. What is the structure of the document, the main stages of the formation and the requirements for its content?

Duties of the class teacher

According to V. Voronoy - the author of the textbooks covering planning, the class teacher needs to have specific knowledge and skills. The requirements for the activity of such a teacher are determined by the goals and measures of upbringing in a modern school.

The duties of the class teacher can be attributed to three groups: educational, organizational and administrative and coordinating.

Educational functions are expressed in the pedagogical leadership of the development and formation of both a class collective in general and the individuality of each individual student. Organizational and administrative duties include the management of the team as an organizational unit within the educational institution, the management of students' personal files, the preparation of reports and other necessary papers, and documentation. Coordination function of the class teacher is to ensure interaction between students, subject teachers and other representatives of the teaching staff of the educational institution, parents or legal representatives of students.

Planning for educational work in the class is one of organizational and administrative duties. Realization of the same plan in practice already enters the educational functions of the pedagogical worker (with elements coordinating in the moments where interaction with the participants in the educational process is planned).

The main types of work plans with students

Planning is of exceptional importance in the work not only of the head of the classroom, but also of the educational institution as a whole. Teachers, as a rule, in the process of professional activities are engaged in the compilation of two types of plans: the calendar and the future. There is also a mixed perspective-calendar plan.

A prospective plan for the educational work of the class teacher is formed for a long period, that is, for the academic year or half-year. Scheduling reflects the list of works for a shorter time period: day, week, month, quarter. This type of plan for the educational work of the class teacher is more extensive, includes specific actions, rather than general directions of activity. The perspective-calendar plan differs simultaneously and a wide time coverage and specifics.

A school plan for educational work is compiled separately. Classroom leader in developing a document for the class is recommended to adhere to a general plan.

In terms of educational work indicates the orientation of the activity, the content and timing of the performance of educational work, the guidelines of the class teacher. The document provides a systematic, purposeful organization of the work of teachers in an educational institution. In addition, planning activities in the classroom, implementing an educational plan and subsequent analysis contribute to the professional development of the teacher.

Plan your work with the class

When planning to work in the classroom, the manager needs to properly prepare for the drafting of the document. So, it should be:

  1. To familiarize with the normative legal acts, the legislation determining the tasks of general educational institutions at the present stage. These include the provision of classroom leadership, the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Law on Education, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the charter of an educational institution.
  2. To study the special (methodical) literature, which contains information on the planning of various types of educational work.
  3. View the school plan for educational work. The class teacher should pay attention to the activities in which students should participate.
  4. Collect and analyze proposals for planning work for the academic year from subject teachers, class activists, other students and parents.
  5. To study the experience of other classroom leaders in an educational institution, to listen to the recommendations of colleagues and management.
  6. To carry out the analysis of work for the last academic year (if such with the class was conducted and the documentation was preserved).

This completes the preparation for planning. Then the head of the team must proceed directly to the development and design of the plan for educational work. It is necessary to carry out the actions step by step - only in this case the teacher will be able to work out an optimal and scientifically grounded plan for educational work.

The main stages of the formation of the plan

The plan for the educational work of the class teacher should be carefully thought out and justified. The development of the document includes such items:

  1. Analysis of last year's work plan. It is necessary to determine what has been done, what the results of the activity are, and what should be continued in the current academic year.
  2. Characteristics of the classroom. It is necessary to carry out social monitoring, to make a characterization on such parameters as the general level of knowledge, skills and skills, team cohesion, asset class. Psychological characteristics of the collective will not be superfluous either.
  3. Determination of tasks for the academic year, directions, forms and methods of work, deadlines.

The last item requires extended explanations. The tasks of educational work, for example, can include the formation of a friendly team, the orientation of students to success in educational activities, the education of good manners, the formation of a life position, the development of citizenship and patriotism, and so on.

As for the forms and methods of working with the class, here we can distinguish:

  • Carrying out of class hours;
  • Individual communication;
  • Open lessons;
  • excursions;
  • Preparation and participation in class and general school activities;
  • Creative workshops;
  • Sporting events;
  • Meetings with interesting personalities;
  • games.

The areas of activity that must also be reflected in the educational work of the class teacher include:

  • Moral and ethical education;
  • educational process;
  • labor training;
  • physical education;
  • The education of a patriot and citizen;
  • Work with "difficult" students;
  • Work with parents;
  • Formation of the healthy life style of students;
  • Vocational guidance.

Goals and objectives of educational work

Education is designed to create the conditions for the formation of a responsible, highly moral, creative, enterprising, competent citizen. The main directions of planning educational work for the class teacher are the patriotic education of students, the formation of skills in healthy life-style for the younger generation, the creation of favorable conditions for the formation of student self-management, the socialization of pupils in society, career guidance, and the prevention of crime and crime.

In the process of forming the goals of educational work, the class teacher should take into account the need:

  • Ensuring proper intellectual development of pupils;
  • Civil and patriotic education (familiarizing the younger generation with the traditions and history of a small homeland, state, family and school);

  • Aesthetic development;

  • Joint activities with parents and community organizations.

Main directions and content of work with students

For the class teacher, the educational work plan is a guide and allows not to miss a single important moment. After the formation of the list of tasks, it is necessary to plan the events, the implementation of which will achieve the set goals.

So, first you need to reflect in the plan for school-wide activities, in which students should participate. It can be the organization and holding of the Day of Knowledge and the Last Bell, a reporting concert, a concert on Teacher's Day, Health Days and so on. Then it is necessary to think over the events timed to the holidays, certain periods of the school year. For example, at the very beginning of the school year, there will be a conversation "Learn to learn" and organizing class hours, before the winter holidays, you should conduct a conversation about safety in the cold season and on ice, and the conversation "Respect for a woman" should be timed to the Eighth March .

After drawing up the list of compulsory measures, it is necessary to supplement the approximate plan of the class teacher's educational work with activities aimed at achieving the goals (intellectual development, patriotic education, social adaptation, career guidance, work with parents and further on the list). For example, during the year such activities should be evenly distributed:

  • Conversations about the dangers of smoking and alcohol use, drug dependence, early sexual activity, protection from STDs and unwanted pregnancies;
  • Tourist hikes, picnics, participation in sports competitions, training evacuation;
  • Participation in subbotniks, general class cleaning;
  • Lessons of courage, talks about patriotism, tolerance;
  • Conversations about the culture of behavior, the organization of assistance to pensioners and veterans, the release of school wall newspapers;
  • Attendance control (daily);
  • Educational work: work with personal files, checking diaries, forming a class asset, class participation in olympiads, extracurricular activities and so on.

Interaction of the class teacher with parents

The work of the head of the collective with the parents' committee, guardians and parents of the pupils consists in organizing and conducting parent meetings: school-wide and thematic ones in the classroom (organizational issues at the beginning of the school year, questionnaires, summing up the quarters, organizational meeting regarding the end of the school year).

It is also necessary to organize a parent committee, to involve parents in school activities. Separately (if necessary) the class teacher conducts meetings with parents, including with the parents of "difficult" children, organizes communication with subject matters.

Individual work with individual categories of students

Work with "difficult" students includes finding out the composition of the family, the personal characteristics of the students, updating the data on "difficult" students. It is necessary to monitor the dynamics of academic performance, attendance, absenteeism, the child's busy hours after school, conduct preventive conversations, assist pupils, supervise behavior if necessary.

Requirements for the content of the plan

There are a number of requirements for the plan for educational work, which include:

  • Purposefulness of the plan;
  • reality;
  • Application of various forms of work;
  • The creative approach of the class teacher;
  • Systematic;
  • Taking into account age characteristics and interests of students.

Correctly drawn up plan will allow to organize educational activity, create optimal conditions for the development of both the collective as a whole and the students.
