Paintball: what is it, equipment, clubs, grounds, prices

What kind of adult does not dream of a short time to plunge into childhood and indulge in fun, exciting games? A truly spectacular fun is paintball. What is this game, what is its essence and what is necessary for it to take place? We will try to understand these questions.

History

From English "paintball" literally translates as "paint + ball." In this fun, players shoot each other from pneumatic weapons with capsules with special paint. There are several versions of the origin of the game. We will sound the two most popular ones.

In 1878, the practice of military exercises was introduced in the French army. In them, soldiers shot not from conventional weapons, but from a special pneumatic syringe with paint. Then the inventor Supplier Reclus was replaced by his model, similar to the modern model, with latex projectiles. Inside such "patrons" was paint.

Another version refers us to the USA in 1981. Three friends, stock brokers, seriously carried away with military games, purchased markers and set them up for shooting with paint. The downside was that the paintball marker contained an oil substance that was not washed off the clothes. Of course, the constant change of form was problematic, so in 1984, gelatinous balls appeared. A year later, the model of the gun for the game was improved.

Sports or entertainment

Around the new invention in the beginning of the XXI century there were arguments. Paintball - what is sport or entertainment? Of course, initially it was fun for fun filled with leisure. However, later the game was built into a team sport that not only unites people with a common idea, but also involves physical activity, development of coordination, balance, attentiveness, training of quick reaction, accuracy, analytical skills.

Recently, the paintball club is increasingly used for team building, rallying the working team.

rules

Shooting paint has pretty simple rules. The participants are divided into two teams, they choose the scenario, instruction and on the specially arranged territory they begin the confrontation. A soldier who has been "wounded" by his own or others' paint in any part of the body or got into a weapon, is eliminated from the game until its end or to respawn (game rebirth). He must raise the paintball marker and exit the field.

In the case of respawn, the player must carefully wipe the paint off the clothes. If there is suspicion about the enemy's cunning, the participants call for help from a judge.

In Russia, paintball courts use two versions of the game: St. Petersburg and Moscow. In the second hit of capsules with paint in objects carried in hands (weapons, props) are not considered defeat.

Equipment

Paintball equipment consists of:

  • Protective clothing. Usually it is issued on a specialized basis. But if paintball becomes a hobby for a person, he gets himself an individual kit. Clothes should be free, do not restrain movement.
  • Shoes on the relief sole, comfortable and fixing the shin.
  • Airguns. In this game it is called a marker and differs in shape and size.
  • Paintball mask. It is necessary for the protection of the face, since the capsule with the paint, when shot at any distance, may leave a bruise. The mask should sit well and not interfere with movement on the site.
  • Feeders - small bins for capsules with paint. They are attached to the marker, which allows you to continuously fire with the enemy.
  • Cylinders with compressed air (carbon dioxide). They are also attached to the marker, and thanks to them and a shot is made.
  • Balls for paintball - capsules or containers with paint of different colors, which when struck is opened and marks the opponent.

  3. Guerrillas. This is a role-playing version of the game. One team (partisans) must keep the defense in an improvised desert or forest, the other - to drive it out of hiding. For this, various combat actions, called provocations, are used.
  4. Duel. This is a classic staging of the fights of the XIX century. Only they shoot, of course, not with cartridges, but with paint. Each player has only one paintball marker. The judge commands, two players from different groups approach the barrier and shoot at each other with the next signal. The results are counted according to the last player left alive.
  5. Accompanying. This is one of the most exciting plots of the game. The group of participants is divided into two unequal teams (ratio 1: 2/3). The smaller group is called the terrorists. She is taken to the field earlier to organize ambushes. The second team must, through the site "with a surprise", hold a VIP-person to the appointed point without defeat. As distinctive signs a person is marked with a bright bandage or wear a bright vest. This option is suitable for open areas or large multi-level structures.
