Marshal Meters - it would seem, the usual name and surname for the average American citizen. However, not everything is so simple, because that's the name of one of the most famous representatives of the global rap industry - Eminem. Yes, you did not misinterpret, the rapper uses a pseudonym for his speeches.

Marshal Bruce Mathers III, that's the name of the talented rap artist who almost fifteen years ago blew up the world musical culture with his original songs. Teenagers saw in him a new messiah, able to explain to adults that teenagers need understanding, love and care.

Eminem was born on October 17, 1972, and from the very childhood he rarely stayed at home, preferring to disappear on the street with friends. As a teenager, he became involved in rap music and began composing the first tracks, and in 1996 he became a member of the D12 group, where he was noticed by the future producer - the well-known Dr. Dre. Under the leadership of the latter, Em started a solo career.

1999 was a fateful year for Eminem, it was then that he presented his debut CD, entitled The Slim Shady LP. Marshal Meters managed to offer the public a whole new perspective on the world around him and people in general. Disregard for the world liked everything, so the career of the singer went up the hill.

On the wave of success, Eminem records the next record, which is even more successful, and for her rapper receives a prestigious music award - "Grammy." The album quickly spread around the world, in some countries it was necessary to issue an additional edition. Charges from the second album allowed the musician to establish his own label, on which the group D12 continued to work.

The next album was also quite successful, and Marshal Bruce Mathers also received a Grammy for him. At the moment, no one has ever managed to break the record of a rap artist: he won this prestigious award three times in the category "Best Rap Album", leaving behind enough distinguished colleagues.

From 2005 to 2009, Eminem decided to take a break. Much has contributed to this: sharply worsened health, the death of a close friend, problems with the family and mother. For four years, the rapper was silent, not giving interviews or making statements. On his return to the stage, he admitted that he tried to spend as much time with his daughter Haley Jade.

Eminem's return was the album Relapse, which the fans met with delight, showing their idol how much they missed him. In 2009, Marshall Meters became the leader in disc sales of the decade, from 2000 to 2009 he sold more than 100 million copies of his discs.

In 2010 and 2011, two more albums were released, the musician sought to convey to the public what was happening in his head for the last time. To date, Marshall Meters has thirteen "Grammy" awards for his musical achievements, and this, according to critics, is far from the limit, and Eminem should expect surprises.

However, the rapper indirectly confirmed his expectations with his new album The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Here Eminem, according to critics, is no longer a reckless killer, but an adult who is well aware of his actions and is ready to bear a certain responsibility for them.
