You can argue indefinitely about which beaches are better - sand or pebble. Probably, these disputes will never abate, because their zealous supporters have both types of coasts. The fact that the broken shell, capable of seriously cutting the feet, is not the best beach cover and a convenient approach to the sea, everyone knows, but between sand and pebbles, many can not choose. And after all, going on vacation to the Crimea, it is important to know on which particular coast you are going to rest. So, what is better: the pebbly or sandy beaches of the Crimea?

Adherents of pebbles claim that small pebbles make an ideal massage. If the sea is agitated, they do not rise from the bottom, and the water remains transparent. Pebbles do not fall into the eyes, do not creak on the teeth, in windy weather a cloud does not fly in the air. Fans of diving have a lot to look at such rocky coasts and there is absolutely nothing to do on a boring and lifeless sandy day. And lovers of sandy beaches insist that the sand massages feet not worse than pebbles, there is even a special treatment - psammotherapy. If the pebble is large, it is inconvenient to lie on it, it is dangerous to walk on it, because you can dislocate your leg. In a storm, a wave can hurt your legs with stones. Beaches from roundworms, as a rule, have a steeper approach to the sea, while sandy beaches are shallow. And certainly from the sea cobblestones you will not build castles, you will not bury them, you will not play on an uncomfortable beach in volleyball. However, the supporters of both camps can reconcile the Crimea. Sandy beaches are found here less often than pebbly, but fragments of rocks cuddly by the sea there are the smallest, and sometimes on pebbly beaches you can find wide bands of sand.

The southern coast of the Crimea, stretching from the bay of Aya (south of Sevastopol) in the west to Sudak in the east, is mostly famous for its stone beaches. This is due to the fact that it is surrounded from the north by mountains - these are the rocks and are the main "building material" of local beaches.
