How to properly arrange a holiday at your own expense

This type of leave is usually unpaid and is provided on the verbal request of the employee backed by a mandatory Written application. For all reasons listed there, the employer does not have the right to refuse to provide leave at his own expense, but can talk about the reduction of the due period for effect, for example, production necessity and only with the voluntary consent of the employee. The law also provides the possibility in these circumstances to leave for forced rest and independently, but at the same time it is necessary to notify the employer in writing about this intention in writing at least two weeks in advance. Otherwise, unauthorized leave to leave at his own expense can be regarded as a violation of the discipline of work in the form of absenteeism, with all the ensuing consequences, up to and including dismissal. In order to write an application for a vacation at your own expense, there is no need to specifically look for a sample. The application form is standard, as for ordinary vacation, but there are minor differences. In the text of the application it is necessary to indicate the reason why you need to leave at your own expense, the duration in calendar numbers (from such and such to such, inclusive). If there are documents confirming the need to leave without pay, they must be attached to the document to fully inform the head of the alleged reason.

Of course, every person, there may be circumstances when he needs to leave at his own expense, but still it is not necessary to abuse them. First, the salary is lost; secondly, the days of unpaid leave are not included in the paid insurance premium to the Pension Fund; and thirdly, employers begin to distrust those employees who, without good reason, often ask for leave at their own expense. This may mean that such an employee is first in line in the case, say, of staff reduction.
