How to make a print in "Photoshop" of any version

Probably every new user of "Photoshop", digging deeper and deeper into the functional jungle of the program, with enthusiasm and surprise makes more and more new discoveries, with gratitude and admiration, thinking about the creators of the unique program, the possibilities of which sometimes seem unlimited. And here, then, from where it does not appear, there is an insinuating thought: "So you can draw money!"

Well, about the money, let's say, not everyone will think, but how to make a seal in "Photoshop", very many are interested, and not to forge, no, just curious.

Requirements for seals

Since we are not going to falsify anything, we do not need to know that, according to the law, there are no special rules regulating the content of seals (if they are not reproduced by the state emblem), their manufacture, accounting and use. In order to create a seal in "Photoshop", it is enough for us to know that a stamp of a round shape is required to have only legal entities, and the rest - who is into that much.

The most important thing is that the full corporate name of the organization or the full name of the entrepreneur must be printed in the press, as well as an indication of the location of the legal entity. The legislation is not against additional information, so you can reflect the logo or trademark, OGRN, TIN, etc.

And one more very important detail, on which depends how to make the print in Photoshop as realistic as possible. This, of course, is a print cliche, by which an impression is reflected in a mirror image, and since it is cut out, the text in the figure should look voluminous (but this is already an amateur).

Round stamp

Let's move from words to deeds and draw a simple round seal. Create a new document in Photoshop, for example, 300 x 300 pixels. With a resolution of 72 pixels / inch on a white background.

Include the tool "Text", select the size (say, 18 pt.), Color and type of font to your taste, and write a not very long name for your company, company, shop, name of entrepreneur or something else in it Kind.

Select the text on the canvas and in the settings panel at the top click the button with the letter "T" on the slide. In the opened window - "Deform text" - expand the "Style" drop-down list and select the "Arc" option, bending it with the "Bend" slider to 100%.

Copy (Ctrl + J) the text layer and reverse the duplicate upside down (Edit> Transform> Rotate 180 degrees), then place the copy under the original half-circle of the text.

Add a new layer, turn on the selection tool "Oval area" and ring the text, then go to the "Edit" menu and choose the "Stroke" command, specifying a width of about 6-8 pixels. And placing "Center". Deselect (Ctrl + D).

Repeat the previous step to create an inner ring directly below the inscription, as is customary in the design of round stamps, but make the thickness of the stroke a bit smaller, somewhere 5 pixels.

Note: you can start the text in a circle, and without distorting the direct inscription, as it was done with ours. You can draw a circle with the Ellipse tool, pointing to the Outline mode in the settings bar at the top, then go to the Text tool and bring the cursor to the contour line. As soon as it is transformed, you need to click the mouse, after which the cursor flashes familiarly, urging you to enter text. You can delete the outline by pressing Ctrl + H to not bother with the "Paths" tab. In addition, to create a circle, you can use rings from a standard set of arbitrary shapes, for example, "Thin round frame". Just do not forget to rasterize this layer before adding the porous texture.

In the inner ring in the center of the print, you can (on a new layer) add a logo or trademark, an abbreviation of the company or whatever it pleases, and this can be text, a picture, or both.

We figured out how to draw a stamp in Photoshop, but it's only half the battle. Now the pattern of the cliche should be added to the porous (or fine-grained) texture, as prints of seals usually look like. This is achieved in many ways, but all of them, in principle, boil down to the addition of noise.

Create a new layer on top of all the others, go to Filter> Rendering and select Clouds, then open the Filter menu again and select Noise> Add Noise. Here you need to set the "Effect" 18-20% (in our case), specify the distribution "According to Gaussian" and select "Monochrome". Change the current blending mode for a "noisy" layer to "Screen", and the print pattern is ready for fake activity.

Now you can select all layers except the background, and for the sake of verisimilitude carelessly mow the impression, causing the transformation (Ctrl + T) and slightly turning the pattern.

Rectangular stamp

It's even easier to make a print in Photoshop, if the shape is rectangular. Suppose that our stamp is made of rubber.

Create a new document with dimensions of 250 x 150 pixels. (Enough for the middle stamp) and choose the primary red color (it looks spectacular), and make the background black.

Activate the "Text" tool, in bold font size not less than 50 pt. Make an inscription. For simplicity, let it be one word.

Go to Layers> Rasterize> Text, or right-click on the layer and select a similar command.

Enable the selection tool "Rectangular" and expand the frame by enclosing the text, then go to the "Edit" menu and select "Stroke", indicating a width of about 10 pixels. And placing "Center" (Center) or "Inside" (Inside). Then deselect (Ctrl + D).

The frame of the stamp with the text inside can add a layer style to the "Shadow" by selecting the appropriate options to create a volumetric effect.

Now we'll add a texture to the picture, imitating a print made of porous rubber. To do this, go to Filter> Strokes and select Spatter. In "Photoshop cs6" this "splashing" tool is in the "Filter Gallery" in the same folder "Strokes".

In the filter dialog box, set "Spray Radius" 17 and "Smoothness" 5.

Then open the "Select" menu and select "Color Range" (Color Range). In the "Select" list at the top, select "Sampled Colors", "Fuzziness", make the maximum (200) and select "Selection" below. Now take the dropper and select the black one on your stamp. Clicking OK, you will see that all the black spots are now highlighted, so they can be deleted, thus creating an impression effect. Without removing the selection, click the Delete button until the black spots are completely removed.

Note: the spotted texture of the print of the rubber seal can also be created with the help of grunge brushes (there are plenty of them on the web), selecting a suitable print pattern and a darker color than the cliche. Click on the print pattern and the texture of the rubber material is ready.

Action Games

To "forge" a document with a stamp, it is not necessary to know how to make a seal in "Photoshop" with your own hands, because the kind and "lazy" people have already done it for us. It is, of course, about actions, as they are called, although in the program these macros are called "Operations". There are both paid and free versions.

After downloading the file, take it with you (or copy it) and go the route: drive C:> Program Files> Adobe Photoshop CS> Presets. Here you will find the Photoshop Actions folder and put your file there.

Now start "Photoshop", select "Operations" in the "Window" menu, then click the triangle at the top right and select the "Load Operations" command. Before you open the window, where you need to select your file and click the "Download" button. Make sure that your collection is replenished with a new action and use it to your health.

Brushes

As you know, the brushes "Photoshop" can paint not only classic strokes, but also a wide variety of drawings. However, the most important advantage of this artistic tool of the program lies in the fact that it allows us to create our own prints. Having mastered this not very complicated science, you can easily cope with such "jeweler" work as printing in "Photoshop", because you can not draw anything, but simply in the procedure for creating a brush to use as prints pictures or photographs of stamps.

It's even easier and faster to solve the problem with printing by downloading (for free!) Ready-made brushes, though it's unlikely to use them in scams.

Downloaded brushes are usually placed in the folder Brushes, where you can get on the route: C:> Program Files> Adobe> Adobe Photoshop CS> Presets. Then the files will immediately get into the editor, but you can create your own folder in any place convenient for you and send the files there.

In this case, open "Photoshop", go to "Edit"> "Sets"> "Manage sets," in the opened window, specify the place where the file is located and click "Download", then the new brush will appear in the set. We hope, how to make a seal in "Photoshop", you now understand.
