Ginger for colds

Scientists have determined why ginger for colds is so effective. It contains sugars, phenolic biologically active substances, vitamins, essential oils, minerals, resins. These substances have antiviral, immunomodulating, antibacterial activity.

However, like any other medicinal product, ginger has its own contraindications. So, it can not be used for stomach ulcers and other gastrointestinal organs. Kidney stones, hypertension and pregnancy are also contraindications for use.

You can consume ginger both fresh and in the form of spices, but the powder is more effective in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, and fresh ginger - with a cold.

Ginger tea relieves headache, increases sweating (and eliminates toxins), calms cough, has a tonic effect on the entire body.

Tibetan ginger tea is especially effective. For its preparation, take a half teaspoon of ginger, cloves, cardamom and nutmeg, a teaspoon of black and green tea and a half-liter of milk.

With a sore throat and an obsessive cough, you can take a slice of fresh ginger root in your mouth and hold until the taste is completely removed. Then crack it and dissolve it again.

Ginger for a cold has long established itself as the most effective and, moreover, a natural remedy, and therefore its use is especially recommended for children and people who have contraindications to traditional medicines.
