Football of Kazakhstan: features and successes

In 1992, a new era in the history of Kazakhstan began. Along with independence, this country has the opportunity to play its own national championships in all sports, including football.

Football of Kazakhstan at that time belonged to the Asian Football Confederation, where, after joining FIFA in 1994, the national team of this country was determined. She unsuccessfully tried to break into the world championship in matches with the teams of other Asian countries. Since 2002, football in Kazakhstan has moved under the auspices of UEFA, however, success in trying to break through both the continental championships and the world team has not earned.

Championship of the country

The championship of Kazakhstan on football from other European championships is distinguished by a very sophisticated formula for the competition.

A dozen teams at the first stage play the usual two-round tournament, and after conducting all 22 rounds the squads are divided into two sixes according to the occupied places:

• Clubs that took seats from 1 to 6, are fighting for medals and for getting into Eurocups.
• The teams, finishing in the second six, are fighting for survival in the strongest division.

Championship Regulations

The main provisions of the rules of the competition are as follows:

• The composition of the participants is determined by the Executive Committee, now it is 12 teams.
• The club, which took the last, 12th place, falls to the First League for the next season, and the team with the winning team comes to replace it.
• The penultimate, 11th team plays a play-off for the right to remain in the elite division with the club that took second place in the First League.

Club football in Kazakhstan is characterized by financial instability, because there were cases when the teams deserving the right to play in the top division could not confirm their participation in it for material reasons. The decision to replace such teams is also taken in the Executive Committee.

Requirements for the composition of teams

According to the regulations, each club has the right to declare 30 players to the championship, including at least 22 people who have been brought up by football in Kazakhstan. However, if the pupils in the club have only 21, then declare for the season, he can only 29 players. In the application for each match must be inscribed the surnames of at least 13 inmates.

Each club can declare for the championship no more than 8 players who are representatives of other states, but at the same time only 6 of them have the right to be on the field.

Each team has the right to declare up to 25 players under 20 years of age, and no more than 10 people over 16 years of age to participate in the Kazakhstan Youth Championship.

For the championship match, any team in the game of football (Kazakhstan), the tournament table of which involves intrigue in every match from the first to the last round, can enter into the application the names of 20 people - leaving in the starting lineup of 11 players, as well as 9 spare waiting for their turn To strengthen the game.

Clubs are obliged to enter in the record of each match at least two players not older than 20 years of age who are pupils of Kazakhstan football.

Registration of players

In the football championship of Kazakhstan there are only two periods when clubs are allowed to claim and add new players:

• From 00 hours 00 minutes on January 11 to 24-00 hours on April 3 by the time of the capital of the state, the city of Astana.
• The second period is determined by the Executive Committee and is not tied to specific dates.

Judging by the latest success of Kazakhstan's club football, in particular, on the hit of "Astana" in the group round of the Champions League, the measures for the development of football in this country are beginning to bear their first fruits.
