Felt-tip pens: description, photo, principle of operation

Felt-tip pens have replenished the line of stationery relatively recently - 50 years ago. Today they have become a familiar tool for children's creativity. Unlike paints, colored pencils, wax crayons, artists do not really welcome their use.

Agree, it is rather difficult to find a book in which illustrations are created with the help of markers. In art schools and studios of painting, too, lessons are not drawn on drawing these tools. Despite this, children are very fond of them to create, especially since now they can be very diverse.

One of the latest developments - air markers. They are also called bloopenes. Today they are very popular among buyers.

What is the difference from conventional markers?

Air pens BLOpens are designed for drawing in a somewhat unusual way - the image on paper is obtained with the help of splashes of blown paint. Like some toys designed to develop baby speech breathing , these seemingly ordinary devices strengthen and develop the respiratory system.

How to use air pens?

Each of them has a case that consists of two halves - transparent and colored. Before you start, you need:

  • Get a felt-tip pen from the case;
  • Until the stop (tightly) insert the writing end into the transparent half;
  • Both halves to connect;
  • From the side of the colored halo to blow into the felt pen.

After completing the drawing, reposition the markers so that the writing end is directed to the colored half of the case. This will prevent it from drying out.

Airfoil pens (as usual) allow mixing colors. To do this, you need to blow the same part of the picture first with a felt-tip pen of one color, and then the other.

You can adjust the intensity of the color. It depends on how long you will blow on the same part of the picture. You can make it tender and blurry or more dense and saturated.

Air pens allow you to develop the child's imagination. Try to close with him part of the picture during the coloring of a piece of paper, as a stencil used pieces of lace, braid.

You can draw a wet brush by drawing. So you can make beautiful backgrounds for applications and postcards.

Stencils

Air pens (depending on the set) are completed with stencils. When they are mastered, the store can be purchased separately or made independently.

At what age can I use it?

Manufacturers recommend air markers for children from the age of four. In the process of working with them, the child develops aesthetic taste and respiratory system.

Parents should not be afraid - the ink in the blobs is completely harmless. They are made on a water basis, and they do not harm the health of the baby. It is important that air pens are filled with ink, which are easily washed from the fabric and washed off the skin.

The body of the bloopenes is made of polypropylene - a material that is strong, which, even if the felt pen breaks, does not injure the child with fragments, since it will not have sharp edges when it breaks.

Unusual beautiful drawings, bright colors, simplicity and safety in use - all this is the advantage of air pens, which will be a good gift for the child.
