Eco Park Feldman. Kharkov can be proud!

For most of our fellow citizens, charity is either attempts to evade taxes, or public relations in the run-up to early elections, or the desire to cash in on tenders for expensive and rare medicines. In large-scale charity even schoolchildren of lower grades do not believe (kindergartners are still quite naive, but they believe in Father Frost). However, there is evidence that there are disinterested undertakings. One of them may be Feldman's eco-park. Kharkov is not for nothing proud of both its citizen and the result of his activities. A more cozy, equipped, friendly and "small" place of family rest is hard to imagine.

Who is he, a modern hero?

The organizer and the "supply man", thanks to whom he got the opportunity to implement the eco-park Feldman (Kharkov), whose name was given to the unique object, is in itself a unique personality. To begin with, his first occupations were the driver and the boiler-room engineer-almost the most outsider of all possible, the lower bar is kept only by the janitor and the watchman. And now Alexander Feldman is one of the richest people in Ukraine, having an outstanding business. An active political and social position is also characteristic for him. In particular, Feldman is a Jewish political leader on the territory of Ukraine; Protects the cultural values of different nationalities; Founded an international center designed not only to protect human rights, but also to combat xenophobia, radicalism in politics, anti-Semitism and extremism. Two years in a row - in 2008 and 2009 - he was on the third place of philanthropists in Ukraine, and at 10 - he became the best in the category "Assistance to the unprotected". The International Charity Fund "Alexander Feldman Foundation", which grew up from the AVEC fund, was financed by him, and financed a project that became known as the Feldman Eco Park (Kharkov). Many people think that this miracle is located right in the city. However, it is not. The family recreation area has a slightly different address. Eco Park Feldman (Kharkov) is located five kilometers from the regional center, in the village called "Lesnoye", along the Kiev Highway 12.

For what and for whom the park was created?

The primary task is to create an environment in which all its visitors will begin to feel themselves in a world with a common whole, in which there is harmony, there is no aggression, but there is a readiness to understand, accept and help. This leads to more practical tasks: Feldman's eco park (Kharkov) is ready to assist children with developmental peculiarities, to help save the fauna and flora of the region, to promote the development of environmental education and science in the country. Longer in time is the infusion of the Kharkov region into environmental measures of international level.

A zoo that is larger than a zoo

The initial emphasis in the creation of this zone was made on animals. However, unlike most zoos where animals can not be looked at without tears, here the inhabitants of the cells feel quite comfortable. First of all, they have enough spacious enclosures, and caretakers keep them in perfect purity. At the same time, feed the animals (read - throw them in scraps through twigs) here is strictly prohibited. Future plans

It is assumed that the eco-zone will not be limited to those functions that it performs at the moment. It is going to build a rehabilitation center aimed at restoring those who have mental disorders and impairment of motor functions, including patients with cerebral palsy. It is supposed to use the whole range of effects: from traditional massages, physiotherapy exercises and balneotherapy to innovative Bobat, animal and voyce therapy, without missing opportunities for auxiliary techniques (music, aesthetic therapy and art-technologies).

Additional voluntary workloads

Probably, this direction is not a priority, but it was taken by Ecopark Feldman. Kharkov is generally one of the first cities in Ukraine to take part in this program. Right in the recreation area is an animal help point. His goal was the rescue of wild animals, faced with manifestations of civilization. Any person, for example, who picked up or saw a wounded animal, can report to a service that will provide veterinary assistance or help find a new shelter for the victim.

Routes and tips

It remains to describe the ways that you can get to Feldman-eco-park (Kharkov). How to get to it depends on what kind of transport you use.
