Diver leash on pike perch. Fishing on the diversion leash: reviews

If you ask fishermen specializing in catching predatory fish, which tackle is the most catchable for fishing on pike perch, then most of them will answer affirmatively: "Spinning!" This fishing device for a few decades has gained immense popularity among hunters of aquatic predators and almost no Has left chances to the competitors.

Advantages of spinning

Considering the way of life of the pike perch and its habitats, to irritate it and force the bait to attack it is possible only with the help of spinning. No dunk, feeder or a frog with a live bait will seduce the river "tiger" as it will make a bait or a quality wobblack playing in the bottom space.

The advantages of this gear are obvious: a simple design, complete control over the implementation of casting, wiring and dicing, absolute mobility, the possibility of using different attachments and quick replacement.

Where to catch pike perch on spinning

Pike perch lives both in ponds with a rapid current, and in stagnant water. The main thing is that it should be pure and saturated with oxygen. Do not waste time catching it in a swamp or a small lake with a silted bottom. His element - boiling cool water, depth, rocks and snags.

Pike perch is an exceptionally bottom fish, however, during night hunting hours it often comes ashore. In the daytime it is necessary to hunt in the deepest places of the reservoir.

Why do I need a lead leash

The unevenness of the bottom, rocks, driftwood and water vegetation, which is so adored by the pike perch, are threatened with constant hooks and cliffs. To avoid this, our savvy fishermen have invented a unique spinning tackle - a branch lead, or Moscow rigging. At first, this installation was used only for sport fishing, but eventually became very popular among amateurs.

The essence of this tooling is that the bait, wobblers or vibrotails are not attached to the end of the line, but on a special pull-off, which allows them to move on the wire not on the bottom, but at a certain distance from it. Due to this design, the branch lead on the pike-perch is less prone to hooks, and consequently, to breaks. In addition, the bait, moving at a certain distance from the main tackle, plays much more attractive, especially on the current.

Diver leash: assembly of equipment

The tackle itself is very simple to manufacture, so it can easily be mounted and used even by a beginner. To do this, you will need:

  • The main line (braided or monophilic) of section 0.2-0.25 mm, length not less than 150 m;
  • Fishing line for a leash (monofilament) with a thickness of 0.17-0.2 mm, a length of 0.25-1 m (depending on fishing conditions);
  • Lead sinker (round or teardrop shaped) weighing 6-20 g;
  • Swivel-tee.

The line is wound on the inertial coil, pre-mounted on the rod. To its end, the swivel-tee is attached. To the length of the line (leash) of the same section as the main one, the load is fixed. The other end is attached to the bottom of the swivel. To the lateral branch of the tee is attached the deflection leash. Mounting the bait on the tackle is carried out directly at the site of the catch. Use of steel or tungsten leashes for fishing on pike perch is not necessary. This fish almost never snacks them, although in some cases it can exert much greater resistance when vyvazhivanii, than other predators.

The branch lead on the pike-perch can be of various lengths. For a more or less even and clean bottom, you can use a retraction of up to 1 m. Removing the bait from the main gear at such a distance substantially unloads it and makes it more "free" during the game. In the case where it is required to make a bottom pit or a steep crooked bottom, the branch lead on the pike-perch is made no longer than 20 cm. Otherwise, the hooks can not be avoided.

The cargo must necessarily have a streamlined shape, otherwise the sense of rigging is lost. The angular shapes of the sinker will interfere with its free movement along the bottom, and also increase the probability of hooks.

Weight of cargo is selected in accordance with the conditions of fishing. The stronger the current, the more it must be. In addition, the weight of the load should not exceed the bait weight more than twice.

Other mounting options

The described installation is one of the most popular because of the minimal susceptibility to overlap and entanglement of tackle, but there are other varieties of Moscow rigging that are in no way inferior to it.

The simplest version of the branch lead does not require the use of a swivel. In this case, on the main line at a certain distance from the load, a locking node is made, and the bend is fastened directly above it. However, such a simple design does not guarantee that the tackle when cast is not confused, so this installation is used in rare cases.

An excellent solution for the branch lead is the use of a sliding sinker. This equipment requires the use of two conventional swivels. One of them serves to connect the main line and leash lure. The second swivel is tied to the branch with a load by one ear. Another eye is simply put on the main line above the first swivel. Such a solution not only prevents overlapping, but also enhances the sensitivity of the tooling due to the independence of the sinker, because the force is transferred through the main line in biting.

This option has proved to be the easiest and most sensitive leash to pike-perch. The photo of this equipment is presented below.

Rod and reel for spinning

The diversion lead on a pike perch can be effectively used only under condition of correctly picked up a rod. The weight of the additional cargo must be taken into account when determining the test index of the spinning blank. The total weight of the heaviest used bait and sinker should not exceed 2/3 of the test.

The form for spinning pike-perch should be stiff, better than fast formation.

The length of the spinning should correspond to the place of fishing. If fishing is carried out from a boat or on a tree-lined shore, a long form is of no use here. In this case, the rod will be 2-2.5 m.

If you plan to fish from a clean shore, or if you need long-distance casting, you need to select a spinning length of at least 3 m. As for the coil, the optimal option for a three-meter blank and a line of 0.25-0.3 mm will be a reliable model with spools 2000 -2500 size. The presence of a friction brake is mandatory. For catching trophy specimens, a coil with a front clutch adjustment is recommended.

Lure for snorkeling leash

Fishing on the branch lead can be carried out using any spinning attachments:

  • The live bait;
  • Spoon-baits;
  • Wobbler;
  • Vibrotail;
  • Foam rubber fish;
  • Twister and others.

The type of bait used depends on the time of the year, the day, and the activity of the predator and the conditions of catching. Twister and vibrotail, for example, have proven themselves in the summer. Catching on a branch lead in the fall will be much more effective when using a live poultry, "foam bottles" or spoon-bait.

The tactics of catching pike perch on a branch lead

When catching pike perch on spinning, according to experienced fishermen, any wiring is applicable. It all depends on the activity of the fish. Using a leash leads here does not change anything.

In spring, for example, in the period of increased predator activity, jig and twitching are most often used. Catching on a branch lead in the fall is also carried out using these postings. The sharp low-amplitude jerks of the bait perfectly attract an active pike perch.

But in the summer, when the predator is inactive, fishermen recommend using a uniform wiring. In the heat, the pikeperch, for the most part, hunts from ambush, so the accuracy of casting and the unhurried smooth winding of the line are important here.
