To make a design cardboard with your own hands, you will need the following:

• Ordinary white cardboard for children's creativity or thick paper;
• Roll of food film (or a part of it, sufficient in size);
• Table napkins with decorative pattern;
• Gauze, thin fabric;
• iron.

When everything is prepared, start working. The sequence of steps is as follows.

Take a napkin and iron it with an iron so that no wrinkles and unevenness remain.

Separate the top layer with the pattern from the white substrate.

Put on a flat surface (ironing board) a sheet of cardboard for children's creativity. It is better to spread a sheet or an unnecessary cloth as the base so that the excess edges of the film do not stick to the surface of the board.

The second layer spread the food film.

The third layer - the decorative part of the napkin - is located bright side to itself (not to the cardboard).

Place gauze or thin cloth on top.

Stroke the prepared design with an iron with sufficient heating. Suitable mode is "cotton" or maximum temperature.

Start smoothing from the middle to the edges, which you pay special attention to.

Cut the excess napkins and film along the sheet contour.

Iron again from both sides.

Your sheet is ready. Having mastered the technology, you can experiment not only with the colors of napkins, but also with the base material. You can use a two-sided workpiece.

Interesting effects are obtained with photo paper or colored sheets. In a word, there are many opportunities for creativity.

How to make postcards and boxes from designer cardboard

It is clear that you will not be able to make decorative sheets in order to simply look at them. From the material made it is easy to make an exclusive packing or postcard. If for a box you have to draw or print a scan pattern on the printer, cut it out and glue together a three-dimensional product, then it's easy to make a greeting card, just by folding the prepared sheet in half. Do not forget to pre-guide the fold line and it is better to make a groove with a spoke or a non-writing pen. This little trick will allow to fold the sheet smoothly and neatly without deformations.

In order to get an effective postcard it was enough just one fold, you need to place the napkin with the pattern on the front and inside so that each side of the future postcard looks like a complete beautiful composition.
