Children's Puppet Theater, Novosibirsk: repertoire, photos and reviews

For young spectators, the theater was and will forever be a fairy-tale world of magical heroes. Puppet theater (Novosibirsk) just lives, and it's quite a lot. 1934 for young residents of Novosibirsk was marked by the opening of the Regional Puppet Theater. The premiere performance was "Petrushka Visiting Schoolchildren," which was released on May 1. Since 1999, when the modern building of the Puppet Theater on Lenin Street, 22 was presented to the Novosibirsk people, there appeared performances that differed significantly from those of the past. Now the work uses evolutionary technologies: advanced stage mechanics, unique theater lighting and sound equipment, computer graphics, video projection.

In 2011, another Puppet Theater was opened, at Stanislavsky. Novosibirsk (and most of all residents of the left-bank part of it) have long waited for such a joyful event. After all, for such a large city of Siberia is not enough one puppet theater. Tickets for children's productions were not available.

Now the children's theater at Stanislavsky is an independent organization with big plans for the future. The collective owes its rapid development to the regional puppeteers and to its art director, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Olga Gushchina.
