Catherine Hickland was born on February 11, 1956 in the resort town of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her father Arthur Hickland worked as a dentist, Mary Hickland's mother also worked in the field of dentistry. Catherine has a brother and sister.

She graduated from high school in Fort Lauderdale in 1974 and entered the Florida Atlantic University. But after studying for two years, the girl decided to leave the university and work as a flight attendant in a national airline. Six months later, Hikland left the airline and made an ad for her. She decided to pursue an acting career.

Career

It first appeared on the screen in 1980. The girl played roles in drama series. The first role was played in the TV series "Texas", and later also in the "Capitol".
