"Ballad of the Bomber": actors and roles

The eight-part military saga of the joint production of Russia and Ukraine "The Ballad of the Bomber" (actors: Nikita Efremov, Alexander Davydov, Ekaterina Astakhova, Nina Usatova and Viktoria Tolstoganova) was shot by the production director Vitaly Vorobyov based on Mikhail Veller's work of the same name. Vorobyov, who already had experience in the production of military paintings (Desantura), together with screenwriter Arkady Tigay and author of the literary source Mikhail Weller, transferred to the film the story of the commander of the 12th Guards Long-Range Bomber Aviation Regiment, Nikolai Bogdanov. The actors of the series "The Ballad of the Bomber" became the object of close attention of spectators and critics-experts literally immediately after the project's release on the screen.
