Andreevsky Lakes (Tyumen) - rest on the largest reservoirs of the North

Andreevsky Lakes (Tyumen) is a complex system of reservoirs in the north of Russia. They were located on the territory of the Tyumen Administrative District. This system consists of 9 small water bodies, which are connected by straits.

The Andreevsky lake complex is a popular place to visit in this region. There are always a lot of tourists here, and the locals are also frequent guests on the water. It is worth noting that the Andreevsky Lakes (Tyumen) are the largest in this area.

Natural features

Conventionally, the lake system is divided into:

  • Upper - Large and Small Lake.
  • Lower - Nazarikovo, Dirty, Big Duvan, Pesyanka, Batarlyga and Duban.

Not far from this complex there are two more reservoirs, and although they are not connected with the St Andrews straits, but, nevertheless, they have a similar origin. This is Lake Chapkul and Mostovoe.

All reservoirs were formed in the valley of a dried-up river. Andreevskie lakes (Tyumen) are of river origin. All are characterized by insignificant depth.

Upper Lakes

Although these areas are frequented by local residents and are favorite recreation places for Tyumentians, only the Upper Lakes are suitable for bathing. On the coastline there are small sandy beaches with an even approach to the water.

Who likes to live even in a comfortable environment, it is worth paying attention to the Upper Andreevskoe Lake (Tyumen). Recreation center "Borovoye" with pleasure will welcome tourists. This complex belongs to the budget, so there is not a lot of entertainment. In the warm season there are a lot of tourists.

Who is ready to spend a great deal on rest, then you can stop at the base of "Lost Paradise". There is an individual beach, a sauna is built, and there is a TV in each room. Another entertainment complex is also provided, which are organized for tourists visiting the Great Andreevskoye Lake (Tyumen). The recreation center has good conditions for living and cleanliness in the territory.

The most expensive pleasure is a yacht club. Day from one person is from 1300 rubles. However, here you can rent a catamaran, a boat and even a yacht, there is an opportunity to ride a jet ski. Sports grounds are built on the territory. For those who want to sunbathe and buy, there is a clean sandy beach.

Lower Lakes

The Lower Andreevsky Lakes (Tyumen) do not have a developed infrastructure. All these ponds have "wild" beaches, there are practically no rest. However, thanks to the dense forest here you can collect a lot of berries and medicinal plants. In these places wander people who are engaged in their collection.

Lower lakes have marshy banks and a silt bottom, so they are not suitable for bathing. However, these places can be considered a paradise for fishermen. Around the lake system is a pine forest - an excellent place for hunters. On the shore of Pesyanki - the lower lake of Andreevskoe (Tyumen), the photo of which is shown below - is a hunting farm.

Carrying out archaeological excavations

But the Andreevsky lakes got a great popularity in archaeological terms. On their shores, scientists as a result of excavations found several dozen sites of ancient people. According to the results of the expeditions, a separate Andreev archaeological culture was even singled out .

The first excavations in these places began as early as the end of the 19th century by the scholar of local lore of the Tyumen region - Ivan Slantsov. After his death, the study of this area continued for several decades. Many memos, parking places, ornaments of silver and bronze, objects of everyday life, bronze idol of worship, and even the remnants of the ancient "town", which was called Andryushin, were found. Now it can be seen on the shore of lakes. Some of the finds date back to the chronological framework of the 5th century. In Andryushin town, there are more than 30 half-earth wrecks.

In the 80 years on the territory where the main excavations took place, the Andreevsky Archeological Museum was built, in which finds are kept. This place is not quite ordinary, except for the usual halls, here you can walk along a special path, visit places of parking and even sanctuaries. The museum operates from 10 to 18 hours, Monday and Tuesday are days off. The entire territory here is a protected area. It absolutely forbids any kind of "human intervention" - hunting, spending the night and so on.

In early spring, you can witness an interesting spectacle: on the Big Andreevsky Lake there is a real reconstruction of the Battle of the Ice. A small children's railway is laid on the southern shore of this pond.

Andreevskoe Lake (Tyumen) - how to get there?
