Features of mounting the aerator in the arrangement of the roof

When the master makes laying a new roof on a surface that is made of reinforced concrete slabs, you can resort to installing a plastic aerator, it should be on the lower layer of the material. In this case, it is necessary to be guided by a certain technology, which provides for an opening in the layer of screed and insulation. You must reach the vapor barrier. The formed hole must have a diameter that varies from 80 to 120 millimeters. Further in the hole is covered with expanded clay, and then you can put on the horizontal surface of the aerator sealant, glue or mastic. This will ensure a better grip of the device with the surface of the roof. When the "Technonikol" aerator is installed, you must wait for the mastic or sealant to harden, only after this you can perform additional fixing of the fan, using self-tapping screws in the amount of 6 pieces. They must be screwed all over the circumference of the pipe skirt. The next step is to fix the top layer of the roofing carpet, while the aerator must be in the place where the end overlap of the carpet of the roofing sheet will be carried out. The width of the overlap should be 150 millimeters.
