Acute trachyte can be treated without the use of antibiotics

Acute trachyte is an inflammatory process that develops in the mucosa of the trachea. This disease can occur in people of any age, but most often occurs in the elderly and children. As a rule, trachitis does not arise as an independent disease, but with pharyngitis, laryngitis, or rhinitis. Acute rhinitis, the treatment of which many do not pay due attention, can lead to the development of such a disease as acute frontitis - inflammation of the frontal sinus of the nose, as well as other types of sinusitis.

Acute trachitis is manifested in the throat and dry cough, which often occurs at night or immediately after waking up. It should be noted and some features that are peculiar to this disease.

  • Cough is unstable. Especially severe attacks are mainly observed in the morning;
  • When coughing, there are enough severe pain in the pharynx, and in some cases behind the sternum, which can persist even after the attack has already passed.

Acute trachitis mainly causes pneumococci and influenza sticks, far less often staphylococcal infections occur. To provoke the emergence of an acute form of this disease can be too dry or cold air, which have to breathe for a long time. Often, trachyte occurs with a strong cooling of the body, as well as in adverse environmental conditions at work or in the place of residence. Sometimes the cause of the disease is some pathological changes in the lungs and heart.

The inflammatory process that takes place in the trachea causes a secret viscous secretion that can be mucous, purulent or mixed. In addition, the body temperature rises, a feeling of weakness appears, migraines often occur, and the voice becomes hoarse. Trachitis is a disease in which there is a strong edema of the mucosa of the trachea, and if you do not pay attention to the symptoms and do not make timely treatment, then the process will progress and go into a chronic form.

In connection with the fact that acute trachyte often occurs under the influence of infection, then for its treatment quite often prescribe various antibiotics. Such therapy, undoubtedly, gives a good result, but more and more patients do not tolerate some components of such medicines. Therefore, if the disease has an easy form, most experts recommend that you stop using strong drugs. In extreme cases, you can use antibacterial agents in the form of inhalations, which will allow them to be evenly distributed over the surface of the inflamed mucous membrane and significantly reduce the dose of medications used. If the symptoms of the disease are not very severe, then prescribe antihistamines, antitussives, antiviral, and expectorants.

Quite often effective treatment is with the use of folk remedies. To do this, use medicinal plants such as sage, eucalyptus, chamomile, mint, mother-and-stepmother and some others. It is recommended to rinse them with a throat or use an inhaler.

Acute trachyte may occur in children of any age, including infants. Before starting an independent treatment for a child, you should always consult a pediatrician to avoid any complications. Usually in this case, trachitis is treated with inhalations and various warming procedures - banks, mustard plasters, etc. A good effect gives the trituration of the breast balm "Doctor MOM", if carried out such procedure from the first day of the onset of the disease.

Do not forget about such simple methods of preventing trachyte, as the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle, regular hardening and rational nutrition, which will improve immunity and the body itself can successfully resist various infections.
