Lishay In Children - Signs and Methods of Treatment

At the onset of the summer, our children are happy with the upcoming changes: you can sunbathe, swim, run in your panties and play with dogs and cats who are unknown to you. Such reckless love often brings our kids. If the skin of animals is infected with a fungal infection, then they can "share" it with the children. Thus, infection occurs and deprivation occurs in children. The first signs of infection do not make you wait long: the baby already at the beginning can increase lymph nodes and the temperature rises, skin appears rashes.

However, in the early days the skin almost does not itch and the child does not complain about anything. But after a few days, a close mom will notice:

On the head, as if deliberately cut out a "kruglyashok" hair, which looks like a hemp gray color. The skin in these places is slightly flaky and barely noticeably inflamed;

-small flaking oval or round foci on open parts of the body with small crusts. Both types of these lesions increase rapidly in number and size. In this case, urgent treatment is necessary to deprive children.

Although such a disease is easy to diagnose in appearance, the dermatologist will confirm the diagnosis before starting the course of treatment. First, the affected area will be studied under the rays of a special fluorescent lamp and examine under a microscope a hair or scaly skin from the lesion focus. After a few tens of minutes, the diagnosis becomes clear. Treatment is carried out before the first negative analysis, and in a month should be done with a break of 5 days three control studies for the final confirmation of recovery. Usually pink lichen in children is treated much easier and faster than the shearing.

Treatment of ringworm is carried out on an outpatient basis or in a hospital, depending on the degree of injury and "neglect" of the disease. In each of the cases, lichen in children is treated externally with antifungal drugs. As a means of local therapy use ointments, solutions, tablets, as well as special bandages, which, in addition to assisting in treatment, also help to hide the not-pretty-looking lesions. With this disease, self-medication can lead to not the best results. Any medicine has side effects, and only an experienced specialist will be able to take everything into account and prevent unwanted reactions in advance.

In addition to all this, the common term "lichen" combines a lot of skin diseases that have common symptoms, but in each individual case, only an expert can prescribe the correct treatment. Different types of lichen require special therapy and an individual approach. When you try to cure lichen in children yourself, you risk increasing the treatment time and "lubricate" the picture of the disease. Treatment deprived takes at least one month. All this time your child will have to limit summer fun. For the fastest recovery, you must adhere to important rules:

-If there is an itch or any rash in a child in the shortest possible time, you should consult a specialist;

-Take care that your baby does not comb the lesions, otherwise it will spread to the whole body;

-Pay your child to pick up only things that are easy to clean;

- When bathing a child, close the affected areas with cellophane and wipe it with a damp sponge so as not to wet the foci of the disease;

- Avoid exposing the affected areas to direct sunlight and restrict the child's contact with other people.

Remember that lichen in children and adults is an extremely contagious disease transmitted by contact. In the period of illness, be sure to observe the maximum purity in the house.
