Many fans of HP products can be confused by the words of Compaq Presario CQ57 372SR standing in the name of the notebook. This is explained by the fact that in the distant 2002 the brand merged with the rather successful manufacturer of electronics Compaq Computer. This line is positioned by the company as a device designed to fulfill business tasks, while remaining universal and budgetary models. One of the special features of the Presario CQ57 is that the stuffing of the device is completely built on AMD-platform.

Design

Notebook Presario CQ57 (photo below) looks a little cumbersome, but nevertheless you can see the calmness and simplicity in the features. Uniformity and discreetness speak of a device designed for office work or serious students. Due to its dimensions and weight (376x247x34 mm / 2.5 kg), the laptop will be more convenient to use permanently, since for carrying (especially for ladies) it is too big and heavy.

Even in spite of small design tricks, like rounded corners and streamlined shapes, the device is the embodiment of rigor and seriousness. The absence of any texture on the surface of the device only confirms this fact.

The device is made of black plastic in matte stylistics, but even though the surface is not glossy, the gadget builds fingerprints and dust quite well, which will not be easy to get rid of.

The Presario CQ57 notebook is completely devoid of chrome parts in the interior, but it's not surprising, since the budget version is equipped with monotonous plastic with an ordinary unremarkable keyboard and a frame around the display.

The only thing that is noted as a plus is the matte frame around the display, which, although a bit, is protected from fingerprints.

The display itself has a bearable picture - moderately contrasting and quite saturated. Some might think that the colors are not succulent, but overall they are not bad and do not spoil the overall impression of the Presario CQ57 372SR. The laptop (the view of the corners) has very mediocre indicators of vertical and horizontal view, and if you can somehow tolerate the latter, when the screen height changes, the picture completely loses its saturation and contrast, and the image fades before your eyes. Sound

The sound quality is quite bearable, and the sound is obtained with the predominance of high frequencies. Bass can be fully felt only in the headphones or on the external speakers, otherwise the sound seems a little flat. Touchpad

Approximately the center of the working surface is conveniently located touchpad (92h50). Dimensions of the manipulator allow you to freely perform positioning and work with the main applications. The only thing that users complain about in their reviews is the lack of touchpad boundaries, so those who are used to working "blindly" will have to look at the manipulator from time to time.

As an image accelerator, the integrated video card "Radeon" HD 6310 with 1 GB of DDR3 memory is used. The kernel supports the processing of graphics standard DirectX 11, but to play something serious will not work anyway - the device will master the toys of 2008-2010 at medium and low settings.

The device has the characteristics of an office "worker" for daily needs. Interfaces for the periphery are quite enough, the display will show a good brightness for working with texts, and the keyboard (if you get used to it) is relatively convenient. That is, from a practical point of view, there are no complaints about the device: a matte surface, a strict design, a good assembly and a sturdy body.

This model can be advised to unpretentious users who need a device for performing simple tasks such as web surfing, video viewing and printing documents. Count on high productivity is not worth it, and why should she undertake such a low price.
