Hunter rubber boots: why exactly are they?

Recently, rubber boots are experiencing extraordinary popularity - manufacturers produce many models that have a very stylish look, they are not ashamed to put on a job or a walk. And how much such shoes are practical and indispensable in rain and slush, is not even worth mentioning.

To date, one of the most famous and quality brands supplying rubber boots is the trademark Hunter Boots, which has gained recognition not only at home in the UK, but in many countries around the world, including Russia.

History

The reference point for the history of the brand Hunter can be considered 1856 year. It was then, almost 160 years ago, the entrepreneur Henry Lee Norris in Scotland was founded factory for the production of rubber products. It was called The Castle Silk Mills.

Shoes made of rubber famously dispersed among the local population, thanks to their excellent qualities: watertightness, unpretentiousness, ease of maintenance, durability and reliability.

The prototype for the first rubber boots Hunter served the so-called "Wellington" - they were worn by the Duke of Wellington, in the distant 1815, victorious at Waterloo, Napoleon himself. This shoe was also made of rubber, had a low, in the form of a brick, a heel and a high bootleg. Due to its simple, but at the same time elegant look good and practical boots strongly fell in love with the Scots.

The years went by, the First World War broke out. The Castle Silk Mills managed to get an order for a large batch of well-known Wellingtons. However, state requests for this did not end - the production of sought-after footwear was not forgotten during the Second World War: 80% of all booted shoes were sent to the army's outfit.

Ten years after its completion, in 1955, the first rubber boots Hunter were released. The model was called Green Wellington. Subsequently, she acquired the status of a classic. This footwear was characterized by orthopedic characteristics and was much more convenient than the first boots of Hunter, which was not slow to assess not only the citizens, but also members of the royal family.

In 1977 and in 1986, respectively, first the Duke of Edinburgh, and then the Queen of England herself, agreed to supply rubber shoes for their yards. Boots Hunter wore everything - and members of the royal family, and household members in the palaces.

2007-2008 became, perhaps, the most difficult in the history of the company Hunter. The external factor, the world financial crisis, has added to the already inevitable problem of modernization of production. To reduce costs, the management decided to relocate the factory's workshops to other European countries and China.

Despite the large-scale relocation of production, this did not in any way affect the quality that Hunter boots possessed - the feedback of numerous buyers in a positive vein eloquently testify to this. Now the shoes of the famous English brand are worn by all: townspeople, farmers, party people, VIP-persons, and show business stars.

Product Quality

Water resistance is the main criterion, because of which any rubber shoes are bought. The Hunter brand went much further than its competitors in this matter, adding to the waterproofness of the material the high quality of the raw materials used, the increased strength of the pads and the laconic, pleasant appearance of the models. It is for these properties that Hunter boots are so loved by all segments of the population, as evidenced by their testimonials.

The choice in favor of rubber footwear of this brand indicates not only the desire to feel comfortable in any situation, but also that the buyer also has a sense of taste and style.

Every season, the brand updates its collections, following the world trends and market demands. Both women's and men's boots Hunter are made in the classic recognizable style, but still have some differences in style and color.

Features

Each pair of Hunter rubber shoes can rightly be considered unique - the boots are assembled and soldered for the most part by hand. Raw materials are only natural materials.

Another difference that Hunter boots possess is soft fleece socks that will save your feet from the cold in dank weather. They are sold separately from the shoes. Winter models have a special fur support. For maximum insulation, a combination of these two options is possible.

In its appearance, rubber shoes Hunter is universal - it will be appropriate to look both in the urban landscapes of megacities, and outside the city in nature.

Cost

In comparison with rubber footwear of other brands, in particular Russian ones, Hunter boots have a rather high cost. On the official representative's website there are female models in the range from 5500 to 9000 rubles, men's - from 6000 to 12 000 rubles per pair.

First of all, such a price is explained by manual manufacturing, high quality of materials used and, of course, the centuries-old widely known name of the manufacturer. However, despite the fact that Hunter belongs to the world of high fashion, these boots are a real challenge to bad weather and unfavorable surrounding conditions.

Finally

English character, the standard of style in its segment, the completeness and convenience of forms - that's what most fully characterizes the boots of Hunter. Reviews already having this shoes once again confirm these statements. Once determined to entrust the protection and comfort of their feet to a pair of Hunter, then you are unlikely to want to purchase other rubber boots.
