Gum camouflage - a tool for nail extensions

Nails say a lot: whether the girl cares for herself, whether she is neat, what she has a sense of style. To have moderately long, healthy and beautiful nails dreams each. But, unfortunately, not many succeed. If there is a noticeable lack of calcium or other nutrients in the body, the nails will easily break, not even having grown to the desired length.

But the technology does not stand still, and now every girl has the opportunity to get the desired marigolds: it is enough to go to the salon to the master and perform the procedure of building. There are several ways to lengthen the nails: the use of acrylic, biogel, resin. The most popular method for today is the build-up of camouflaging gel.

What is this - "camouflaging gel"

The very word came to us recently from the English language. In translation means "disguise". Gel camouflage not only lengthens the nails, but also masks their shortcomings.

The gel looks natural, and sometimes it is difficult to distinguish nails from natural ones. This is due to the structure of the tool and palette, which contains gentle pastel tones, as close as possible to the natural color of the nail plate.

Camouflaging gel for nails can be of several types: single-phase system and three-phase.

A single-phase system can simultaneously act as a base, both as a sculptural gel and as a finishing one. It gives the nails a shine, making them as natural as possible. It is formed by means of types or forms.

A three-phase system involves applying the gel in three stages. This requires a lot of restraint and a lot of free time from the master and the client. But these nails will last much longer than with any other type of build-up. In addition, the probability of their breaking or cracking is reduced.

Advantages of Camouflaging Gel

This method of building has its advantages:

  1. Nails have an ideal glossy surface.
  2. The camouflaging gel includes substances that prevent the occurrence of fungal diseases in the nail area.
  3. Gel is able to strengthen the "native" nail, make it more even.
  4. Camouflaged gel for nails lets in air.
  5. It looks very natural, and almost indistinguishable from natural nails.
  6. With accrued camouflaging gel nails can walk for a long time

Disadvantages camouflaging gel

As with any remedy, the camouflaging gel has its drawbacks, which must be taken into account before the extension procedure.

All the means for building up can cause allergies. Camouflaging gel-lacquer is no exception. Before going to the salon to a specialist, consult a doctor and make sure that there are no contraindications.

Under the influence of ultraviolet lamp, the "native" nail plate can deteriorate: the nail will be damaged, micro-burns or cracks will occur. In addition, to remove the accretion layer, you have to cut everything, and if the master gets unskilled, it can lead to injury to the nail plate.

Camouflaged gel for nails has a significant drawback: if the nail breaks or gives at least the slightest crack, it is necessary to cut everything under the root.

After building up, you need to visit the master every three weeks to correct the nails.

Also as a minus one can call the high cost of building camouflage gel.

Preparing for the extension procedure

The procedure for building up is complex, but quite interesting. It takes place in several stages.

First of all, the master prepares natural nails for modeling: he uses an anti-scaffold on his hands and the client's hands, and then heals the cuticle with a soft frieze, so that it is convenient to substitute the form. It is necessary to clean the nail plate well from the cuticle and make sure that there are no "crumbs" on the base layer. After removal of dust, degrease is applied, and then - any primer.

How to build up

At the next stage the specialist takes a special shape for the future nails, separates it from the glue base. When setting the center of the shape must necessarily coincide with the center of the natural nail plate. If necessary, the roots of the mold can be slightly cut and rounded.

Then the master of manicure takes a camouflaging gel for nails. On the brush, you need to collect a small drop and distribute the product evenly to the middle to the free edge, and then upwards to the cuticle. Apply gel to the edges should be very carefully, so that it does not become entangled in the sinuses, receding from the cuticle and lateral ridges one or two millimeters. After that, the camouflage gel is dried under the lamp for about two minutes.

Bond to the natural nail laid out the substrate. Then the master presses it with a special tool to the nail, holds about ten seconds to connect it to the nail plate. The longitudinal line of the mold should continue the line of the free edge. After this, the nails are again dried for two minutes.

The final stage

Then the dispersion layer is removed. The sawmill gives the free edge a beautiful shape. The dust is carefully cleaned with a brush. Then the nail plate is degreased.

After this, a beveled camouflage gel is applied to the French manicure. This is done in two layers, each of which dries two minutes under the lamp.

At the end of the procedure, the master applies the finishing layer with a sticky dispersion layer, spreading all over the nail. Then the nails are again dried in the lamp for two minutes.

After the due time the master takes off the form. Now he chooses from the color palette a shade that best fits the natural color of the nail plate, and completes the build-up.
